FUELPHORIA Presents Carbon Dioxide Hydrogenation Research at CCESC 2024
24 July 2024FUELPHORIA’s partner, Maria Dore, Predoctoral Researcher at Instituto de Catálisis y Petroleoquímica, participated in the 5th International Symposium on Catalysis for Clean Energy and Sustainable Chemistry (CCESC 2024) in Bilbao, Spain. Maria presented a poster showcasing her work, as part of FUELPHORIA’s project, on producing renewable alcohols through the hydrogenation of carbon dioxide emissions from a biorefinery. This research aligns with FUELPHORIA’s mission, as a Horizon Europe-funded Innovation Action Project, to establish sustainable, competitive, and secure value chains for advanced biofuels and renewable fuels of non-biological origin (RFNBO).
The symposium facilitated an invaluable exchange of ideas among global researchers in sustainable catalysis, highlighting the role of catalytic processes in advancing clean energy solutions.
