Stakeholders explore EU-Kenya bioenergy roadmap
Stakeholders convene in Nairobi to explore EU-Kenya bioenergy roadmap.
An engaging meeting unfolded at the esteemed University of Strathmore grounds in Nairobi, Kenya, where Dr Ioannis Tsipouridis presented the FUELPHORIA project to a diverse assembly of Kenyan stakeholders coming from academia, governmental agencies, industries, farmers’ associations, and the private sector.
The meeting fostered a dynamic exchange of perspectives on the feasibility, challenges, and advantages of forging ahead with the establishment of an “EU-Kenya Bioenergy Roadmap”. The discussions delved into the pivotal role bioenergy could play in Kenya’s sustainable development journey. Participants unanimously agreed on the importance of sustaining this dialogue and exploring potential collaborations. As a concrete step forward, there was consensus to pursue further engagement and possibly organize a workshop under the FUELPHORIA umbrella.
