Catalytic and Biological Processes for Sustainable Biofuel Production

Following the successful joint webinar co-organised with sister projects BUTTERFLY and POSEIDON in October 2024 (recording available here), the FUELPHORIA project is pleased to announce its second online event, which will take place on Thursday 4 December 2025, from 10.00 to 11.30 CET.

Having reached the two-year mark, the project is now ready to provide an overview of ongoing activities across FUELPHORIA’s four demonstration sites in Belgium, Spain, and Greece. The session, titled Catalytic and biological processes for biofuel production from sustainable feedstock, will focus on sustainable feedstock conversion pathways for biofuel production, with a distinction between catalytic and biological processes.

Leading partners from each demo site will present the main objectives and current progress, share preliminary insights from laboratory-scale results, and showcase upcoming plans and challenges related to technology scale-up. Particular attention will be given to the processes that have reached a more advanced stage of development and their implications for future deployment.

The agenda of the webinar can be found below or in a PDF version here. To join, register here in advance.
